Cordier Auctions would like to announce they have regretfully accepted the resignation of Ellen Miller, current Director of Catalog and Specialty Auctions. Her final day with the company will be Thursday, February 15th.
Ellen started with Cordier in 2000, when it was transitioning from a retail location into auction sales. Her job then was listing antiques and collectibles for sale on eBay, but it has since expanded exponentially. Ellen earned both her Pennsylvania auctioneer’s license and an appraisal certification from the Certified Appraiser’s Guild of America during her time with Cordier Auctions, and has been instrumental in growing the company from a storefront in Camp Hill to an internationally known firm.
In her almost twenty years with us, Ellen has managed countless catalog and specialty auctions, conducted research on thousands of items, and trained catalog specialists that have gone on to work in galleries around the world. That she accomplished all of this while also having and raising two daughters bears no small mention.
Ellen has been more than a valued and valuable part of the Cordier team; she has been a friend and support, and will unquestionably always be a part of this company’s story. We thank her for the time she has given us, and wish her the best in her future endeavors. Thank you for your continued support during and after this transition.
